Social Networking the Android Way - I Am Android
Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 8:24AM
One of the greatest things about the Android platform as a whole is the unbelievable community that stands behind it, whether it be the amazing genius' over at XDA-developers forums, or the plethora of blogs and news sites dedicated to raising awareness of Android.
Considering that social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook are all the rage these days, it's about time that we had one that is focused on bringing together Android fans from all walks of life. Thus it is with great anticipation and pleasure that I bring your attention to IamAndroid.co. I Am Android is a social networking site similar to Facebook, but with a focus strictly on the Android community.
All of the features and functions that you would expect are there, including personal status updates, friends, messaging, etc. There's even a live chat room on the main page where you can find like minded Android enthusiasts any time of day talking it up live.
So head on over there and take a look. While your there, sign up and meet some new friends. If you're feeling nice, go ahead and shoot me a friend invite by looking me up (Randy Willis). I look forward to hearing from ya!

Unfortunately, I had the link keyed in wrong this morning. The link to iamandroid.co (not .com) is now fixed. I apologize for any confusion.
