Whacky New Xperia Play Commercials [Video]

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play (aka Playstation Phone) is coming out of the closet next month and Sony has gone a very non-traditional route to promote it.  

First there was the commercial where they transplant human thumbs on to an Android figure that played during the Super Bowl.  Can you say creepy?

In this week's installment, actress Kristen Schaal from Flight of the Conchords and Dinner For Schmucks gets caught up in the action.  The spots include everything from her turning into a devilistic back-masker to a, shall we say odd, looking dwarf fighting the forces of evil.

If Sony Ericsson is going for memorable, which really is the goal of advertisements, then I think they hit the spot.  Jump past the break to check out these odd sequences.
