Google Reader Finally Makes a Real Appearance on Android

Here's an app that's been a long time coming.  I've tried about every RSS newsreader on the market, and generally been unhappy with all of them for one reason or another.  In my opinion, sometimes app developers get a little carried away with gimmicks "features" and wind up with an app that is too bloated, too cumbersome, too elaborate, etc.  In my mind, a prime example of this are newsreader apps.

Enter the official Google Reader app.  As with many of Google's self-developed apps, it contains a good balance between features and usability.  Details and screenshots after the break.

my6sense Debut's App for Android, Personalized News Feeds

You may not have heard of my6sense before unless you're a convert from the realm of iPhones.  The app is essentially a newsfeed reader, but not in the normal sense.  The premise of my6sense is that, over time, it learns what types of articles are important to you, and provides those as a unified news stream.  In addition, it also supports connecting to Facebook, Twitter, and Google Buzz to add social content in to your mix.  my6sense can additionally be configured to import your feeds from Google Reader.  More details after the break.
